Why we have quite changes exactly at this ages?

 

When our body is ready for Puberty, there’s a gland in the bottom of your brain named pituitary, will make special hormones, but it depends if you are a boy or a girl, then this hormones are send to different parts of your body and then the changes in your body start to appear.

For boys:

The hormones must travel through the blood, and then tell the testes to start creating testosterone and sperm. The testosterone is a hormone, this hormone is the one who makes most of the changes in boy’s body during puberty.

For girls:

Unlike the boys the hormones target the 2 ovaries, this ovaries are full of eggs that every girl have since they were born. The hormones make the ovaries start producing other hormones, that are called estrogen, then, this starts to prepare a girl’s body to have her periods, and then be able someday to become pregnant.

For boys and girls:

The acne starts to appear because of all the hormones working in your body.
